$5 Table Makeover

Just wanted to share a simple makeover I did the other day - it only took 10 minutes!
I started with this $5 table from Dollar General. The bottom tile was broken, so I decided to redo the table for my laundry room. Here is the table before...

Here is the piece of tile on the top that was still intact.
I took the tile and made a template out of cardboard. Then I wrapped the tile and the "cardboard tile" in a cute, polka dot fabric I got for free at a yardsale. I spray painted the table with one coat of Wal-Mart brand, black satin spray paint. I replaced the tiles and this is the table after...

It really adds a special touch to my laundry room!

  7. That is toooooo cute! If I find something that is broken at a store, I am not above asking for a discount to get it cheap! Not when I know I can fix it lickety split!
